The Country is striving to maintain consistent expansion and growth of its industrial sector and to meet the ever-changing demand of international market. As a result, Pakistan offers a lucrative market worth billions of Dollars as part of its prevailing drive for the industrial up-gradation and compliance with the international standards.
Pakistani engineering goods have already made breakthrough in the export market. In addition to export of conventional surgical instruments, cutlery goods and light engineering products are being manufactured and exported. However, Pakistan is still far behind Newly Industrialized Counties i.e, Korea and Malaysia in export of engineering goods and thus there is huge potential in this sector.
